The Urge to Write

"When our memories outweigh our dreams, it is then that we become old." - Bill Clinton Many experiences and stories really move me. I want to hold on to them. A heart-to-heart conversation. A funny situation. An unfamiliar smell. An intense episode of a series. A dialogue so real from a movie. An informative interview on TV. A small achievement. A nuisance. An inspiring quote from a book. An impression. A breaking news. The challenge is my memories have been fleeting these days. The world is moving at a head-spinning speed, old information is filled by new one way too quickly. Technology enables you to search and know what is going on at home and everywhere all at once. Still, you need time to digest and process it. Writing is my way of recollecting and processing. Being a writer remains among my many dreams.
